Waffle, Crepe and pancakes




On this entry, I will share to you three types of pastry that is CREPE, PANCAKE, and WAFFLES.
 This three recipe are simple and it uses simple ingredients that everybody have in hand. It is so delicious and also can be cook in minutes. For saving our times, let look at this three simple recipe.


CREPE


Egg yolk - 1 nos
Egg - 1 nos
Castor Sugar - 60 gram
Soft flour - 105 gram
Milk - 300 ml
Butter - 25 gram (melted)


Method of preparation

1. First, Sift the flour and sugar in a bowl; 
2. Add eggs and just enough of the milk to make a soft paste with the flour. Mix it until it becomes smooth and lump-free; 
3. Gradually mix in the rest of the milk and the oil. The batter should be about the consistency of heavy cream. If it is too thick, mix in a little water. If it has lumps, pour it through strainer; l
4. Let the batter rest for 2 hours before frying; 
5. Heat the pan over moderately high heat until it is very hot, brush lightly with melted butter and pour off any excess; 
6. Remove from heat and pour in about 3-4 tablespoon of batter. Very quickly tilt the pan to cover the bottom with thin layer. Immediately dump out any excess batter, as the crepe must be very thin;
7. Return to the heat until the bottom is lightly brown; 
8. Slide the crepe onto the plate. Continue making crepes and stack them up as they are finished, cover and refrigerated until needed

( you can use any cream for fillings depends on your taste )








PANCAKE 

Soft flour - 260 gram
Salt - 1 tablespoon
baking powder - 18 gram
Castor sugar - 30 gram
Egg - 2 nos
Milk - 450 ml
Vegetables shortening; Melted


Method of preparation


First, Sift together the dry ingredients; After the dry ingredients are mix well enough, combine it with the eggs, milk and fat; Then add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients, mix until just combined and do not over mix; Then using ladle, measure portion of batter onto a greased, preheated griddle, but do not pour to much to give space for spreading; Fry the pancake until the tops are full of bubbles and begin to look dry and the bottom are golden brown; Finally, turn and brown the other side; it is nice when serve hot and accompanied by butter, maple syrup, jams or honey.


WAFFLE

Soft flour– 225 grams 
 Salt – 2 gram
 Baking powder – 15 grams
Egg – 2 nos
 Milk – 340 ml
 Butter  – 112 grams (melted)
White egg (Meringue) – 3 nos
Castor sugar  30 grams 


Method of preparation

Start by sift together all the dry ingredients using all in one method; Combine the eggs, milk and fat which is melted butter; Then, add liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mixed them until it is perfectly combined. In this step, make sure not to over mix; After that, put it aside and start to whip the white eggs until they formed soft peaks then beat in castor sugar until the meringue’s texture turns stiff. Fold into batter; Finally, Pour enough batter onto lightly greased, preheated waffle iron almost covering the surface. Carefully close the iron. Cook waffles until the signal light indicates they are done. The waffle should be brown and crisps.
